Is Barack a Racial Opportunist Seeking Racial Authenticity?

Really I want to know is Barack a racial opportunist? In general I don't like talking race because it's divisive much like politics and religion but I would like to hear everyone's opinion of the situation.

no, I don't think Obama is a "racial opportunist" I believe he is trying to be the president who begins to fix some of the things his predecessors in office phuqued up royally and imho it is much too early yet to grade him on governing. though I suppose I lot of loud mouth talking heads would be out of a job if we were to give him a chance to do right by us before making up what seems to me silly news that superficializes racism, which I believe IS a very important subject that all too often gets swept under the rug.

@libdrone, I appreciate your comment. I tend to agree it is way way to early to judge his body work...I mean what has it been less than a year. In his defense it's not like he recd a nicely wrapped package either but I guess that is beside the point. Also I do believe that racism is an important issue and shouldn't be swept under the rug...however and I really believe this if we could fix a lot of the broken in the country race wouldn't be such a hot topic because people would be a lot happier.
And that is just my $.02!
