This is the title of my recent blog post.
I love blogging for it's creativity. I love the relationships I’m building from it. It opens up a new world to me. But what I read from SBI website made me think twice. Please rerad the hole post, leave your comments and thoughts to help each other.

Less than that. Barely 1% make enough to cover their hosting costs, and I would put down to maybe 1% of those people make enough to not need another job. Even those final 1% are foolish if that is their sole source of income. This business can change fast and no matter who your advertisers are, their policies are subject to change and you being dropped like a rock. I am only in that final 1% because of the amount of other blogs I manage, edit and ghost write on top of the personal blog projects you see in blog catalog.

I don't think I'll be rich doing this, but the cool method of expression is worth it.

I don't think it's really possible to make blogging your sole income source, unless your blog is very, very successful already, so that advertisers are queuing up to give you their online-advertising budget.
Having said that, none of the really successful blogs I can think of uses blogging as their only income source.
For the majority of bloggers who want to try and earn money from their blog (which is not a very high percentage of the total number of bloggers in the world), all they'll ever do is earn a few dollars here and there. -

Making money blogging is possible....
- Create a blog in a hot niche
- Write or hire a writer to write 10-20 articles everyday.
- submit 10- 20 articles everyday to articles directories.
- Create as many inbound links as you can.
- Post 3 artiles or so every week to your blog.
- Monetize your blog.
Once you start to seeing results...Create a new blog and so on until you start making the amount of money you want. Reinvest 60% or so of your profits to...
- Hire people to help you maintain your blog.
- Hire more writers
- Hire someone to write comments
- etc.... -

no way. i'd say start up a lot of different types of sites and see which are worthwhile. www.bloggernoob.com/bloggernoob-a-year-of-making-money-online/14/

I LOVE blogging, I love writing, I love the Internet, and would do nothing rather than spend my time online, but I STILL say it is foolish to think that "just anyone" can make a full income living by blogging. I certainly don't come close, nor do I believe I will, but then again, I don't try either. It is a real job to do well enough to deserve a good following... And I don't consider it an easy job.
If I was determined to find an online job, I would probably try affiliate marketing instead. Spend a lot of time and effort in selecting the perfect products to promote and spend another shit load of time to promote your affiliate shop. Then I would probably start a blog to promote the shop.

Making money on line is possible but we need to put a lot of efforts
The blog site must be easily accessed by internet user.
If we want to make money on line. I think seo is a main factor. How to generate the targeted traffic is crucial.
The problem is how to attract targetted visitors?
I believe we can improve the traffic if we study good tips and implement it. -
