I'm happily married with a son. My parents, in-laws and most of my college friends live within 10 miles. I'm not close to being lonely and I still blog 6-7 times a week.

Um...I'm married with 7 kids. I blog several times a week. Not lonely in the least!

@Both of you: I was referring to people who were not career bloggers. You guys seem like people whp make money from blogging.
    1. Anniepooh
No. I mean, I do NOW, but I blog less for the one I am paid for than my own. I was blogging for over a year when I got my blog "job".

I'm far from being a career blogger. My Adsense account is up to $16 though. I'm hoping for a payout by Christmas.

Not in the least I am happily married and simply love to write and the BlogCatalog.com community.

I finally dropped Adsense as I earned $2.94 in seven weeks.

In my case, I started blogging right after a breakup, mostly to let my family know what was going on in my life. After that I was just addicted

Married too--to a man who got me blogging in the first place.
    1. Theresa111
Smart man. Come to think about it…so did mine. Hey! I thought it was my idea. Just wait until he gets home tonight……………………

NO...but i do get that alot, like where do u find time? and how sad? and dun u hv a life?

to tat: i say, if i dun hv a life, i would not have all the interesting stuffs about me to write. init? and it's all time management. Like pringles, once you 'blog' you cant stop.

11 hours ago you posted this and I responded......here is the response I made on your blog.....

I read your post in Blog Catalog and it did make me think. I too am happily married and blogging really is a way to reflect on the everyday things I do and network with others in a similar position/situation. What i write about is not earth shattering or blow your mind away experiences, it is just the day to day happenings in my life. We are in a rural situation and I find it an inexpensive way to keep in touch with people out there who I have known in some cases for many months, some for a year. When I read their blogs I appreciate my home, friends and family and I feel a sense of contentment which in this day and age is a rare thing!

I always try to respond to posts on my blog.
    Hope this helps.

    I blog and i'm not single :-p
  18. JackRyan53
    I never committed marriage!

I would think single folks would blog less since they are always out "Looking for love it the wrong places..."
    1. fibs
yes but when they fail on that ....and they hv been bitten by the writing bug earlier in life....???/ wt bt tht??

I am happily single and never lonely.

Loneliness resides within, find what is within and the loneliness disappears.

im partnered up, i dont think blogging is geared toward the singles. i think blogging in general, can be somewhat of a lonely exercise, that is why it is good to network and be on sites like bc. btw, this is true of any work-at-home job.
  22. FemmedeBat
I'm single, but that's not due to my blogging; It's due to working a gazillion hours a week.
  23. dharmagypsy7
I am attached!!!! but I have noticed that I have been neglecting my boyfriend and puppy. Been sort of obsessed with this whole blog thing. I think I need to take a step back... step away from the computer.
  24. blm03
Married with 2 kids. So not everyone is lonely. Tired maybe, not lonely.
  25. FemmedeBat
Yes, and single does not equal lonely.
  26. sixuntilme
I've been blogging for two years. And I got engaged two months ago. Blogging hasn't affected my love life.
  27. surfstang
It could be like anything could be a factor in keeping you single.
  28. PrettyLady
I'm married and don't make a dime from blogging and I'm an addicted blogger.
  29. insatiable
we both are developing our blog and soon going to get married, so I dont think so :))
  30. firepowr
The statement is true for me. For now, I guess.
  31. marco71
married no kids, the wife gets a bit annoyed if I blog too much.

not much to do with being single.
  32. robinsonjoel
