Do you think Bush is Evil?
If you want to say 'he is just stupid', I will ask does stupidity justify bad actions (that is, if you think he did bad things)?

Define "evil".-
an evil person is one who's actions end up creating bad enough outcomes that the outcomes themselves seem evil, regardless of the intentions or lack of intention or lack of intelligence behind the actions that produced such outcomes.
If we start pardoning stupid people for their crimes and the bad outcomes resulted we may as well empty all the jails -
you raise an interesting point. Would a 5 year old child who leaves his teddy bear by the heater and it catches fire burning down an apartment building be considered evil? Several people would be homeless, some may die, etc. The fire may spread to a whole city block causing widespread devastation. Is there an age limit on where lack of intention becomes evil?

I think he really doesn't care about the country. He was asked a few days ago what his proudest accomplishment has been as president and his response was his attempt to privatize social security. I heard him say a few weeks ago that he really didn't care if he wasn't popular. God forbid he do good things for the country.
No, I don't think he's evil or stupid. I think his only concern has been how can the wealthy gain more wealth and screw everyone else.-

Not exactly what I was talking about, NB. Some have the best interests of the country at heart, for instance. Some have the courage of their convictions and take personal risks in order to accomplish something they feel is important. And others are weak and basically without strong convictions,willing to do whatever is easiest or most personally beneficial in the moment.

Nope I don't really think he is evil but I do think he is an idiot. -
My dad has this phrase "like a bear trap" to describe people who get a hold of something (an idea or whatever) and they don't let go. Bush is not evil. He's a beartrap. -

defended relationship with wright by calling his grandmother a racist in front of millions (real nice thing to do b4 she died)

I highly doubt he's evil. Evil is a relative term anyway. I do believe that HE believes everything he does is for the good of the people. I do not believe he is a member of Mensa, but I don't think it can all be chalked up as succinctly as "he's stupid." I think the choices he makes reflect his own beliefs just as anyone else in his position would. By my thought process, I just feel that his beliefs and the beliefs of many others do not align very neatly which leads to the frequent (albeit extremist) head-butting.

Bush isnt evil, but he is incompetent, and in my dictionary those are two different things.

even if they do evil things or allow evil to occur? does incompetent then become evil? or maybe only produce evilness only?

look I may not like Bush, but I think his intentions were to protect the US. The way he decided to protect the US was incompetent. I dont think he had evil intentions. So, incompetence only becomes evil if the intentions were to do evil things.

Sensico ... Did you even watch the DVD Fahrenheit 911? It tells the entire story. There is no question as to whether or not he knew what was going on. The parts that intrigued me were shaking hands between the Saudi's and The Bush's and the time he just sat doing nothing when he was told our country was under attack. Pictures might speak a thousand words but video feeds speak volumes. The fact that almost everyone in this country seemed to be under some sort of weird spell, allowing them to get away with everything still dumfounds me!

The Bush Clan stole the election in 2000. Who knows about 2004. He pretends to care and he was never in charge of this country. He was always a proxy and a puppet to his parents and following theirs' and Cheney's orders. The only respectable one of the bunch was his wife, Laura. I wonder how many times he embarrassed her. Imagine being married to him! I have been counting down since November 2000 and the end is in sight. Look at all the damage they did to our country, our country's reputation, the economy and the down trodden spirits of We The American People. Thank goodness we will prevail.

I believe Bush had a plan, and he did everything in his power to make sure that plan was implemented, and he almost succeeded. In the mean time, he did a lot of damage, even though he fell short of his goal. I count the hours until he is out of office.-

No. (and I really do not get into politics) People may say Hitler was evil, Judah was evil...etc. I do not belive in that. There is life and there is choices people make and of course there are outcomes of each choice -

I think evil implies willful intent to destroy. So no, I don't think Bush is evil. I believe he genuinely feels the choices he's made would be positive. I just don't believe the outcome of those choices were good, nor were the critical thinking behind them solid. -

Personally I like bush. Well..a little bush, never was a fan of too much bush, but completely bald does nothing for me. I guess a decent little triangle, or landing strip is enough. I don't think bush is evil, but a really big bush can be a turnoff.-

It's true though. Complete baldness makes you feel a little 'Gary Glitter' I think Bush is a MUST. Again, you don't want so much bush that you need to go to the garage for the hedge trimmer first. But evil?...nah..it aint evil.

How is giving a country (Iraq) a chance at freedom evil?
It should have been done long ago but the other Presidents didn't want to lose in the poll numbers.
I would put the country first before the polls also. Do what you know is right and the hell with poll numbers. Country first. -
