Death as a concept as a coincidence? No, the body wears out naturally causing death. Natural and makes sense.

On the other hand, the fact that this happens as a part of the natural progression in a human's life (unless you die by some other means) can be interpreted as that it happens just because. It has to happen, so it happens. Really depends on how you look at it.

By coincidence do you mean that it happens randomly? Or that it has no particular cause?

I think death is the great equalizer. it doesn't matter where you are or what you are in life, we all dies. rich or poor we will end up fertilizing the daffodils.

I don't really get the question. Is death a big coincidence? I mean, in a way or another, anything is a big coincidence, but how is death different? It's not as if one event is "more special" than the other.

Like someone said; Life isn't a chain of events - life is the repetition of the same event.

Isn't it just a matter of where you're coming from?

Some deaths are coincidence. I mean, a hundred people all die at the exact same time in the exact same place, just because they were on an airplane together.

How and where one dies is usually a matter of chance. Unless one happens to kill oneself. But in any case, death is inevitable for all living things.
