    Its already been done

You can run your car on used vegetable oil....I saw it on Top Gear so it must be true

    Hi bird1978,
I've never heard of running a car on water, I know in recent years there has been many who have run their vehicle on bio-diesel made up from cooking oil and various other materials.
I actually posted a news article on two guys from the UK who are travelling to timbuktu in a truck powered by chocolate. 80,000 chocolate bars worth of fuel.
You can read the full article here: globalnewsblogger.com/?p=44

Im trying to find the scientist who actually did do it, he hit the headlines with it a couple of years ago.

thank you so much about your information.

That car is not running on water. If you read the material closely you'll see they use an additive to the water...XYLENE or its equivalent. Not only is Xylene one of the nastiest chemicals out there it is absolutely worse than burning gas. I didn't even bother to get to the part where they want you to pay for the info.A very small amount of xylene vaproized in water will burn.

If you want to run a car on water build a steam engine.

Thats not the article that Im looking for it was just something at the top of the search results.

Have you guys seen the cars made in France that run on compressed air? They are awsome. Makes sense. All a combustion engine is doing is expanding air rapidly to push the pistons up and down, so why not just pre compress it. They are supposed to be developing an compressor that runs while the engine is running so that it will partially fill the compressed air tanks as the car drives around. Sneeeaky frenchmen!! Best idea Ive heard all week. HA

Yea those are cool. they can be filled up at a tire air filling station and last I heard, they were working on getting a small fleet of taxi's made from them and soem very small trucks that can handle deliveries in densely populated areas.

If your car is a camel...

Actually, the current thing is running cars on vodka. It's called ethenol, but same dif.

Great idea, but doesn't work too well in a Minnesota winter. (Alcohol has a lower freezing temperature that petrol. I'm running on ice cubes!)

    Have you seen this :
    blog.wired.com/wiredscience/2007/09/pennsylvania-ma.html

Think of the possibilities if they get this to work in a real world application!

    ha ..ha .. ha..

Thank you eveybody...I have a lot of information for write my blog..

If you have many way to ued "Free Energy" Please share Your idea.

There have been people who run cars on water by splitting the atom and using the hydrogen molecule. However, that obviously takes energy so the question then, again, is where are going to get that energy from? Splitting water molecules for fuel is a circular problem no one has effectively cracked yet.

i do it all the time

    it's called hydroplaning
    1. dharmagypsy7
      lol.. funny
  15. dharmagypsy7
If that's true.. we are all being hoodwinked by all the damn gas companies and the government too.. (hmmm... so what else is new)

    Too depressing to even contemplate
    1. globalgirl
Dharma, I am with you. I find what our govt and oil companies are doing (and not doing) really disgusting. They are all in one accord, as they do their secret handshake.

I recently did a post about using cooking oil for biodiesel.

I am all for alternative fuel. Go read "Crossing the Rubicon" - It is enlightening.
    2. dharmagypsy7
      Thanks Globalgirl... will do.

I like the biodiesel idea however, corn is also one of the worst carbon upsets too.. and it consumes a lot of resources so not a good alternative energy on a massive level.

Crkian, sorry I was responding to the video on th op's site. There is a link there as well that takes you to the site where they sell the info on how to run your car on water but near the end they tell you about the secret ingredient which is Xylene. So the car in the video isn't running on water but diluted xylene vapor which definitely burns and is more harmful than gas.

If it is possible to walk on water, why not drive on water?
    1. globalgirl
Cars can drive on water BUT the world will never have another global flood!
  18. bird1978
if you have other source about "Free Energy"

    please tell me

    thank you a lot.
    1. brigid
Actually, energy is never free. (Even water has to be shipped from somewhere, and purified, which takes resources, which takes money.)
  19. CallCenterVet
Running my car on water? Sure! I do it all the time... Especially on rainy days... Those humongous puddles on the streets are a pain in the arse! With so many out there, sometimes I can't help it but just run over them.
  20. brigid
On this new comedic note, I heard that the old Volkswagon Bugs made great boats. Water tight, shallow draft, and the wheels act as paddles.

    Gotta love German engineering.
  21. simontay78
    I just created this...
    sgenergycrisis.blogspot.com/2007/12/inverse-generator-prototype-1.html

I am not sure if it will ever be working automatically but I will work hard on it in the next few weeks or months.
  22. mikeny07
It will never happen because the oil companies will never allow it to be the norm.
  23. bird1978
    Thank you "simontay78"
