My thoughts are along the same lines as your post. His sexual orientation matters not to me. I do feel he has lied about the situation though.

    That's up to Iowa.

I'm not supporting Craig, but I'm not convinced of the "evidence" against him.

I've heard, and read a transcript of, the dialog between Mr. Craig and the vice cop. Mr. Craig sounded like a mildly blustering, stressed-out traveler who had just been accused of something distasteful by a police officer in a public restroom.

However, the dialog seemed to be of a "did not! Did so!" nature.

As to there being previous accusations of Mr. Craig engaging in homosexual activity, those have been just that: accusations.

I could be accused of being a space alien every third Tuesday, but that wouldn't mean that I was one.

    Sorry about the rant.

As far as I know, Mr. Craig could be guilty.

But at this point, he's been accused: and that means that he's been accused. Period.

I just don't care. I'm not from Iowa. But Doonesbury was pretty funny today.

"Apathy is rampant, but who cares?"

There's an adolescent part of me that goes mildly berserk when I see people apparently failing to distinguish between opinion and fact, desire and truth, accusation and conviction.

In a way, I hope I never get over it.

And, at this moment I'm glad I don't live in Iowa. Trying to sort out wheat from the chaff in this case could be quite a job.

I thought he was from Idaho. Anyway yeah he shouldn't be looked upon as a sinner, unless you are a judgmental christian. But what do I know, I feel prostitution should be totally legal. It's just another "moral" law enacted by judgmental christian law-makers and judgmental christian voters. Leave him alone and let him have his piece...er I mean peace.
