have a pain in the neck; I also feel that life is a pain in the neck. Do you think life is a pain in the neck? Please tell. When is life a pain? Can this pain be overcome?

Life is a "pain in the neck" after staring at three computer screens all day. Literally and figuratively, there's something about instant access to the world that is very cumbersome and, oftentimes, painful to manage. Whether looking for work or blogging, it takes a toll.

Life is pain in the neck when I find that the things I want is so damn hard to get....
Why muz we sow before we can reap? -
Is life sometimes a pain in the neck?
Yes.
Sometimes the pain is about two feet lower.
And, it passes.
The pain, whatever its source, can be overcome - IMHO.
It can also be endured and outlasted.
The human will is powerful, if we decide to use it.
I've been here at fire base Earth for a little over a half-century, and have experienced- Being semi-crippled most of my life
- Dealing with my mother's debilitating stroke since I was thirteen
- Losing a woman I cared deeply for to suicide
- Developing (and later defeating) a drinking problem
Compared to some, I've had a very easy life, but: Having had to put up with a few pains in the neck, now and again, I think I can say that the pain can be overcome.
(About my mother: the stroke was debilitating, but she wasn't debilitated. She's at least as stubborn as I am.) -
I believe that everything in our lives are a gift, something that we can learn and grow from. The pain in your neck is one of those things. Really with so much in our world, there is no reason to be bored. Ive got lots of things for you to do if you ever get bored
Part of our problems is we spend so much time focused on ourselves. The less we focus on ourself and the more we focus on helping other people, the fewer times we realize that we have a pain in our necks. My prescription, start with working towards making Bloggers Unite in Acts of Kindness a fun and fulfilling day for you. -
Of course I feel that way sometimes. I bet everyone does. Even the most holy and spiritually correct will admit to that. I am grateful that I always have help available. I use A Course In Miracles, which offers me true ideas to change my mind, and helps me to focus on what is true. Of course life is not pain. That is an insane idea. Pain is a poor perspective.
Yet at some point, I have to say, FUCK this world. I had it, I decide to leave forever, and that does not mean by death, as certainly everyone's first association will tell. This world is not left through death, but by truth. There is no world. You are dreaming. And you will inevitably wake up and be done with pain forever.

Life is a pain in the neck if you aren't happy with your life. Can you make changes so that you can look forward to getting up each day? Sometimes it takes big changes, but it's worth it to be happy.

I think Life is a pain in the WRIST .. for us bloggers that is
I think I'll probably die with arthritis in my old age. -
The pain is only to remind you that you are alive. The deeper the pain the more glorious that joy you are capable of.

I don't subscribe to any religious or metaphysic principles, so my answer is an unequivocal yes. Good lord, just getting through the day can be such a chore. On the other hand, laughing with someone you love, dancing naked in the streets (you should live in my neighborhood!), or hugging your mum... well, it's not so bad, is it?

As long as you feel the pain you know you are alive, and that is a good thing. When you can no longer feel pain you may also find yourself life less. Considering the alternative I think a little pain now and then is a reminder that you are living, so I say be thankful for the pain. A littel reminder never hurt any body.

Life is what you make it and what you make it is up to you.
My life, so far, has been an incredible journey. Do I have blue days every now and again? Certainly. But, they too are part of the journey. -
I watched Monty Python's Life of Brian last night.
So I tend to think 'always look on the bright side of life'.
If you were a cyborg, life could be a pain in the neck..

I believe Life is a joy....and a slipped disk is a pain in the neck. I'm a firm believer that everyone can be happy if they look for it. In reality every day has peaks and valleys no matter who you are. When we learn to focus on the peaks we can overcome the valleys. I've met happy homeless people who say they're happy because they have no bills. I know people with disabilities who are happy because they've been able to overcome more obstacles than most of us. On the flipside I've met wealthy people who are unhappy because of taxes.
It's totally a matter of choice...so why not choose happiness? -

Life is pain in the neck when you feel that the world betrayed you in the sense that you have or you possess a lot of problems in life.

It's all in how you look at things day to day, minute to minute. A positive out look on day to day events will make life seem fairly pleasant. Again it's all in how you look at each situation and problem you are confronted with. Life is basically a huge series of problems that we must continually solve one by one. Example: problem- I'm hungry, I must find the solution and eat. problem- I need money to live the life I want, I must find the solution and begin a career. This is endless. In order to make each moment feel more positive you must choose to see them in a positive way.

Currently, I have an injured back, an injured knee, my life is packed away in boxes waiting to move house, the move itself is being held up by moron solicitors and has been rumoured to be taking place every week for the last month without anything ever being confirmed.
I've taken over as editor of the magazine I work for, only for one issue until we find a replacement and I haven't a clue what I'm doing, I feel stressed, sore, tired, miserable and fed up.
Life, as you say, is a pain in the neck! -

Pain in the neck, nah. Sometimes a bit too much stress and anxiety, but nothing a cigarette can't help me cope with.

I am generally too busy to contemplate whether or not life is a pain in the neck. It is a sign you have too much time on your hands.

Life has its ups and its down. I always think that right after life becomes a pain is when something great will happen.

No way. life is a soul mirror. it will show you exactly what you think. if you take it as a bliss you will find blessings in hell, if you think that it is hell it will bring you a slice of hell in heaven.
