Over the last 24 hours I am gettiing so cross because life isn't fair...and I am old enough to know that that is they way life is sometimes.
But it really does annoy me. I want the good guys/girlz to win through and
I really want the bad guys to get kicked in the nuts..
Does anyone else feel this sometimes?

MMmmmm some great viewpoints... I love the Wheel of fortune, it is a great tarot card for those that may not have come across it..what goes around comes around
@ norski I like that and can identify right now. I wouldn't want to be there, LOL.
Majik, true enough and I know this and I try hard not to get irritated..........but sheesh now and then is it just me? but the satisfaction of giving someone a good kick where it is strategic is very tempting.
Some of you may be glad to know that this is a rare feeling

chrissymarie321...WOW if you got the tower, sword and devil on Sept 11th,
someone or something is trying to tell you something alright.
The Devil was just thrown right out of his own house, the old ideals of capitalism
were being challenged and the ideals of "We're #1"
was a clue that these ideals were on verge of being destroyed to make way for new growth, even if it meant destruction of the twin towers, that was what part of what 911 was about.

I think there are times when "life isn't fair" plays out and it's true, it's right - and we can deal with it.
However, I also think that there is a line, a threshold of "unfairness" that becomes an actual burden or injustice to one or more people (usually more).
That's when you need to fight it like hell, and create the change needed to make sure that life goes back to only being unfair sometimes. -

All you have to do is look around the world, see the starvation, war, racism, etc - look at the innocent people who are affected by it - definitely not fair.
For me, life is great until something horrible (like the death of a child) happens and then I think it's not fair, so it's pretty much what I'm going through at the time. -

Life is neither fair nor unfair. Life is. Sometimes you get lucky (no sexual innuendo intended there, but that too). Sometimes not. People may act fairly or unfairly toward you and others, but life just is. You might work to make conditions favorable for yourself when they otherwise wouldn't be, but, as I've already said a couple times, life just is.
Sorry for getting all existential on you despite normally trying to sell myself a humor blogger, but I'm just being. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to go squirt some seltzer down my pants to get back in the humor mood. -
I would say life is not fair. but then i have to wonder why you're asking the question... usually, this question comes up because we see someone else with what we want and then we say to ourselves... how come them and not me.
i don't think it's smart to think about where others are in their life and what they are doing and getting etc. it just gets you into a envious cycle.
it might be better to look only at your life and to think how you can make a difference to those around you and not worry if life is fair or not.-
@vfosdal Just to clarify on this one nothing could be further from my mind. I don't much care about what others have...I am very blessed
I am happy, healthy and content.
But, sometimes I see other using their finances and position to manipulate situations which causes bad things for others and it does make me cross.

Life is a game of chance either you get what you want or don't get it at all... but it happens because of the balance needed... everything is related.
yeah it sucks when the bad guys wins but time will come that they will get what they truly deserve somewhere someday (or maybe they are already suffering we just not know)
as long as personally you do no harm to others or intentionally hurt anyone you are good to go, some just don't play life the way you do. -
This always sounds cheezy but I've learnt through a long and rough road that 'unfairness' in life is just a gift in disguise - whether it's a harsh reminder to keep in touch with those that you love or a slap in the face to stop you from perpetuating your own financial crisis...
Sounds like you're vexed at power-wrangling of powerful people - something we have to deal with all the time in these little paradise islands - good cause to fight against I say!
My 2c worth - I believe that we can all do huge amounts more than we think we can, but we must believe we can overcome even though we don't seem to have the resources. I'm not a "The Secret" convert, but I know from experience that I can achieve things I thought were impossible.
Kickin them in the stategics just lets them know you recognize their power...unless you have a hidden rope to tie them down with while you pillage their village... -
Life rarely ever works out as fair no matter what you do you'll want something more, and if life was fair then everyone would get what they want, then what would be the point.

We are temporary beings subject to the laws of the universe and we are raised and shaped to have the mentality that we can “have it your way” when in reality we cannot. We are determined by a chain of cause and effects, and when things don’t go how we think they “ought” to, then we are discontented. Our longing for comfort and survival go so far as to the point we disillusion ourselves to believe there are such things as ghosts\spirits that live on after our physical bodies die, that there is a god that we will meet after death, etc… There is no evidence of such things and it only reflect mans instinct and longing for survival.
The only way to be content is to accept that we are transient beings in a chaotic violent universe. We are made of recyclable material that will be recycled again, and our consciousness will not follow. If we accept this, we know our term is the only term we have, and the closest thing to an objective purpose that there is, is simply to survive. The universe has no commitment to make us happy. Happiness is drug that too many are addicted to. We can only be content with how things are, not how we think things ought to be.
