Is microwave oven harmful to health ?

I want to buy microwave oven.I have heard that food cooked in microwave oven is harmful to health.Is it correct? Is there any new or better technology for oven is available?

  Dear don't mislead by my joke. It was just a joke.I felt that topic owner need such an answer (yesterday i say one was after microsoft for killing IE 6).thats why i made that. I am less bothered about those facts.Just say how can we hide or run out there greenhouse disorder and other life stopping events like global warming,H1N1,AIDS,flues to come in future...Then what oven shit?

Where did you hear that?

The only harm I am aware of is that caused by eating the food before it is sufficiently cooled, or accidents like superheated liquids unexpectedly blowing up.

Microwaves don't add anything to the food or irradiate it, they just excite the molecules which results in the generation of heat.

I would be interested in seeing your source regarding microwave cooking being harmful to health.

Food high in cholesterol cooked any way is just as harmful.

Only if you break the glass part open while it's on. I wouldn't suggest doing that. You won't turn into a super hero like I had hoped before learning the truth about radiation... the hard way.

The trouble with microwaves is that anything with bread in it gest super nuked before the other parts cook properly.

In contrast to Arnold's character in "Twins":

"I don't think I like nuked food."

My mom and Juno says it is and of course if you're pregnant.

I haven't really looked in to that but I'm certain it is. Microwaves are a mystery to me.
