Is networking best way to promote blog

Is good network way to go to promote blog.If yes lets start networking.

    Blog Catalog is not set up to drive indiscriminate traffic to blogs. It’s is set up to drive targeted readers to members' blogs. All the features are aimed at assisting members to increase targeted readers, as opposed to delivering a flood of one hit wonders that produce a high bounce rate.

    I believe that if you use the Search utilities to locate blogs, visit and leave meaningful comments that you will form blog centered relationships and they are the foundation for effective social networking.
