There are some people who don't believe in saying sorry. They think it's weak, uncool and a sure way of losing pride. What do you think? Why?

No, you can say it, but you don't have to mean it

I would be the first to admit I was wrong, yes I say sorry AND mean it.

Personally, I've always had trouble saying Massachusetts and Aluminum. The last one, it's just more fun to say with a couple more ums at the end (Aluminuminum) the first comes out more like Massachewchets unless I think hard about it.

I like how my Irish friends here at work say aluminum. They say "al-oo-min-ee-um". They also say "fil-im" instead of "film".

I see nothing wrong with apologizing for something that's your fault. Or maybe using in a sympathetic way, i.e. "I'm sorry that you can't say aluminum correctly".
