Is that picture really you?

I have seen a few profiles with hot sexy women showing on the image only to turn out to be boys. I never trust pictures anyways and I’m happily married and loyal so I don’t really care what you look like. But I am curious if that picture is really you and if not why you are using it?

Mine is a photo of my husband reading a book when he was two. Since I blog about books it's perfect!

Image in your profile helps to be reliable and creates rapport with the visitors. 'mawbooks' rally nice image, I hope your husband is still as innocent as he was.

Ender, that's about what I pictured you to look like. Don't forget, baking soda is good for teeth and bones.

The picture is really me. Taken a week ago.
My blog is one of the most unique on the Internet.
Really.

Nah. I'm really a grotesquely obese, sweating profusely, slightly perverted 85 year old man with a hair growth issue.

This picture is of me, but it's shaded just enough so that you can't really tell who it is. The pic actually turned out that way when I took it, but I intentionally use it as an avatar because I like the level of uncertainty. It's actually a safety precaution on my part. I have to seriously consider that my blog could put me in harm's way living so close to so many gun toting conservative southerners, especially this close to Texas. I'm not exactly holding back in my Blogger profile or on Myspace you see. I've already been threatened physically elsewhere on the net by a few people, so there is some legitimacy to my concerns. How's that for a story behind an avatar?

Well yes, this is me.
Why would I use this face if it wasn't mine?
It's not that fantastic.
Actually, it's kinda growing on me...

Yep its me. I have seen the hot+sexy avatars and they always crack me up. But it probably works for arousing ... traffic.

I don't use a picture. Prefer readers to concentrate on what I write as opposed to what I look like:)
