      To get back to the original question though, in my opinion yes it is. When it's done properly blogging can bring a lot to a topic, plus it gives creative freedom to a whole bunch of people who couldn't even dream of reaching the masses 10 years ago.
      
      On the other hand, it's also put the same tools into the hands of just about everyone. This means there's a looooootttt of blogs out there that are, how do I phrase this, not very good. It's a question of trawling through what you don't like till you find what you do.

   Hi Daniel, yes, I think that blogging can make individuals lives better, even if it is only the life of the blogger, and the world is made up of individuals...
   
   Knowledge is empowering and blogging helps to spread and share knowledge and opinons, as Kiwipulse says. As in all things, one has to filter out the useful from the rest.

    Blogging is probably a good thing. It factors and makes in roads in the political landscape and now news agencies have to take notice of us. So yeah. It's better cuz it kinda puts some folks in check...LOL

    Yes, the world id better because of blogging. It is a tool that links people much more personally than anything in recent history. A broken heart in a country in Africa is pretty much the same as a boken heart in Wisconsin US, but the real beauty is that each can share the experiences of that broken heart a world away. That would have been unheard of 5-10 years ago.
