Is there a set number of posts....

...that a blog has to have before you would consider it relevant? In other words would you visit a blog that someone has just started and has only 3 or 4 posts?

I have been working on a blog and I've been trying to decide when I should submit it to BC. What do you think, is my new blog relevant?

You have a past history, so I think that gives you credibilty=relevance.

  I created it to offer some of the tips I have learned to get traffic to other bloggers. Is that what you meant by "primer for bloggers"?

  That's what it looks like so far, which makes perfect sense. Do you plan to just keep on adding on? It would be interesting for someone to follow and learn. I liked that you gave info on Digg. Other sites do the same thing, but if you can keep putting a unique spin on it, you may get a following.

  I plan on getting more in depth with all of the different sites as I learn how to use them more effectively.

I'm not sure about rules for here. Some registries require 20 -25 posts.
Have the Google bots indexed the site yet?

  I'm guessing that as you have other blogs here there won't be any problem but what do I know? Go for it. Ask. You have nothing to lose. BTW I've been looking for related blogging tips type blogs. I'm putting yours on my blogroll.

BlogCatalog typically requires 5-10 substantial and unique posts for approval into the directory. We do tend to put more emphasis on the quality of the content over the quantity.

  Now that was more along the lines of what I was looking for. I have 9 posts so far and I think I will wait till I am a little over 10 before submitting. Unless you think the quality is there?
