Some people don't say what they personaly believe here in BC. And if the majority say something all agrees with that-(not to be the odd one). I found some christian who does not believe wholly in the Bible.
Topics like urs seems superstition for them.
I don't know I'll be blogging after death but let me blog now while I live.
I off. -
I do believe faith will transcend death and if nothing comes of it,
you're dead anyways and you can't complain or say peep.
I do think that faith does wonders for people who are on the brink of death
and it helps them to pull through and get them well.
Without faith and hope you might as well be dead.
So YES I do believe there is life after death and I plan on living.
Overall I think that really depends on you and if you say death, there will be death
and if you say life, there will be life.
We all are God's so think as a God, speak as a God, act as a God.
Or shut up and drop dead. -

What is interesting in my family and other families is the passing of one member in the family,
only to have another addition of the family soon being born.
I think it may also be interesting to add that married couples who's spouse died usually follow quickly behind too as they mourn the loss of their husband or wife. I always found both to be very interesting.-

Based on my experiences this has happened to many people...

Although this scenario often occurs if there are strong family relationships and grandchildren etc. often one spouse will live on supported by the love of their family...

Yeah I do Gerry,
If there is life after death, then that means there is life before life.
The chicken before the egg so to speak. -
The way I see things are, there is no such things as "facts" facts are only in the moment.
The world used to be flat. The atom was the smallest particle known to man. Pluto was a planet.
You get the idea.
Everyone dies, do we? Everyone pays taxes, well we know not everyone does.
When the weather man sees a storm coming he says the storm is moving in our direction, but isn't the planet rotating as well?
Facts and knowledge changes everyday.
So, my beliefs can only be an estimate, they can never be based on nothing solid. Evidence can be fabricated. Religions are fabricated, history is fabricated, science is fabricated.
Is there Life after death? Many people believe Jesus came back, was Jesus alive before being Jesus, if so, then it means there was life before life. -
After strange events followed the death of family members, I began experimenting with EVP and had great success. Many people around the world are also having great results using EVP/ITC (video), confirming that the spirit/soul does indeed continue after the death of the physical body. EVP is Electronic Voice Phenomenon, that is, picking up voices of those who have passed on digital tape recorders and computers. With ITC, the experimenters use video cameras to capture the spirit's image. You are unable to hear while you're recording, but only on playback. Many have two-way conversations in controlled environments that prevent the misinterpretation of stray radio signals. Sonia Rinaldi in Brazil is one of the most respected researchers in this area, and recently had much success using Skype to connect a mother who lost her son:

When we leave the womb (birth) and enter Life, we have not a clue what is about to begin. When we leave life and enter Death, we have not a clue what is to begin. Nothingness? Everything?
My faith is there is a reason for Consciousness in the Universe. A reason that transcends one person's 3 score and 10 here in this form. My hope is it is Good. -
Exactly, Rozie. As the Buddhist Thich Nhat Hanh put it, "You were never born, so you can never die. There's no death, just continuation."
Many quantum physicists are now beginning to prove that consciousness is non-local, that is, not contained in the body, and can and does exist independently of it. -
The funny thing about religion is that there are a million different beliefs out there and only one of them can actually be correct. And until we die, none of us can say which one is right or wrong.
Can you imagine not having sex or being stuck living your life a certain way only to die and realize that the religion you chose was the wrong one?-thats gotta suck
So, I see religion solely as a way to guide morality. For me to otherwise is too much unnecessary stress.
Consider this...
As children, for the most part, we follow our parents' lead. They pass on their religious beliefs or lack there of down to their children. And I could be wrong, but from what I have seen... It's not that often that people step outside of their box and question the ideals that they were raised upon.
So, if a person chooses the wrong religion because of their parents and subsequently goes to hell because of it, is that fair?
I mean... the bible does say honor thy father and thy mother, right? -
Over the years I've read thousands of documented cases of near-death experiences and they're all remarkably the same, regardless of the experiencer's religious beliefs. There is never any judgment and they all speak of unconditional love. What's even more interesting is many of those who left their bodies during NDEs and watched from above or other vantage points while attempts were made to revive them, were later able to recount exact details of what went on to their surgeons and/or family members while they were clinically "dead," even telling the doctors/surgeons what specific surgical instruments they used at the time and repeating parts of their conversations.
