If your a scientist or mathematician then the odds would be in favor of yes their is life out there on one of the 100 billion other stars
in the Milky Way Galaxy.the question is were is the proof? The Sun is revolving around the center of the Galaxy at a speed of half a million miles per hour, yet it will still take 200 million years for it to go around once.Since the Earth lies in the disk of the Milky Way, dust prevents us from determining the large scale structure of the Galaxy's spiral pattern beyond a few thousand light-years.What lies at the center of our Galaxy? Again, dust obscures the visible light from us.So many questions and so few answers.Do you think there is life in another galaxy or right here in our own?

Using Drakes Equation, which depends on the variables inputted into each parameter, there is definitely life on other planets.
However, we are only able use parameters for life that we understand, whos to say that life cannot exist in extreme conditions elsewhere in the universe. Changing one variable on the equation can greatly increase the number of life bearing planets from a handful to thousands and thousands.
Keep in mind life does not mean intelligent life.
IMO, there is absolutely life. Our galaxy alone contains at least 200 billion stars, and even up to double that, we're not completely sure. We estimate that there are probably 100 billion OTHER galaxies in the observable universe, some containing more or less stars than ours. Multiply those numbers together and try and tell me theres no chance for other life.. Not to mention, thats the 'observable galaxy'. Theres always the possibility of multiple galaxies. We as humans are very naive to whats actually out there.-
And yes there is probably life but I do not think there anyone there like this woman www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/entry/would-sarah-palin-have-made-a-good-vice-p...

I believe we may first find life once we get a rover to Saturns moon, Titan. It has oceans, which is potential enough.

There is no proof there is, and there is no proof there is not...
This is just a possibility, even scientist say so, because of the dimension of the universe. The possibility that there is another solar system with enough conditions for life exist in our galaxy as well as others galaxies in the universe. Our knowledge of the universe is very small.
Personaly, I think there might be some life other than us somewhere. The reason why many people refuse to believe in that possibility is that they like to believe that we are unique, and we are in a certain way.-
there are other life forms out their , If there are not then we have to find out why we are the only ones like us
just in case your robbing the cradle www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/entry/why-is-it-ok-for-women-to-rob-the-cradle

there are countless galaxies outside of ours full of planets/substance we've never seen. and we're still discovering life forms on earth that we hadn't known existed (www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28711152). i don't see how we can rule out anything.
