Is this Aspire blog layout good enough?

I changed the layout of my blog vegetarianrecipe.blogspot.com using the aspire blog template. But I feel something's not right. Any experts out here to give layout / post tips?

Can you tell us specifically what you feel may not be right?

Blogger (blogspot) themes rarely validate right out of the box and this one is no exception. Neither the HTML or the CSS validate.

Putting my web designer hat on, I would perhaps volunteer that the graphics are a little fussy, and there is not enough white space around the content - meaning that your message becomes muddled.

There is a very good blog called ProBlogger by Darren Rowse that often covers these kinds of subjects. "Smashing Magazine" (web magazine) is very good too.
