   Technically it's not stealing. It is offering downloads without having acquired a license or permission to do so. Which makes it illegal, but not theft.

   It's a flagrant abuse of IP[Intellectual Property]. It's kind of a gray area, but the blog with rapidshare links might surely receive a take down notice from the DMCA[If in US]. Check this out:

   Do remember some ebook publisher become the owner when you publish your book online with them just like social site is to our post and articles. It is there is their policy.

   if the authors feel it is, rapidshare is usually pretty good at responding to requests to take material down that is being used wrongfully.

    Either the copyright holder gave permission or not. If no permission was obtained it's stealing - plain and simple.
