Is your blog hard to fit into any " category"

Every time you have to list your blog somewhere, the question of what "category" does it go into arises.It could be personal, business, family....ect ect.
Is your blog hard to put in a category. Mine is.

I also find it hard categorize my blog too! Blogs can vary from one to another. -
Aside from "Personal blog," I have never found a category to fit mine.
It is not a niche blog...I don't think I could muster up enough enthusiasm for just one thing to keep blogging on it all the time. I have wide, myriad tastes and I write about everything from news, personal experiences, philosophies, stuff...virtually anything that crosses my mind that I want to comment about.
I suppose you could call it an "ego blog," but I never see that category!-

mine is a personal blog and its basically about self discovery so guess thats my niche.... -
I am niche-less, I list personal because, as others have stated that is all that it fits. Someone tried to tell it was pop culture once but I wholeheartedly disagreed with that -
I find categories useful for determining which blogs to avoid.

I think my blog fits into categories such as mommy, humor, creativity and the like.

I pretty successfully avoid the political, but I get sucked into the religious threads...can't stand smart people who refuse to think! If I went to their blogs, it could be disastrous!

Mine is written by a fictional female who is in love with convicted murderer, Scott Peterson, and writes him letters on her blog. It's satire....but definitely falls into some grey area.-

Humorous fiction in the form of personal blog/diary that is meant to have an element of social criticism but also broad farce. Plus, I pretend to be from a country other than the one I live in and I'm writing under an assumed ethnicity!
I struggle with categories -

I think it's like trying to label yourself. I always find that hard to do for myself, so I'm never going to be happy when I pick one, it's always settling for one.

Yes. When people stumble it, they tend to put it under "spirituality," which is okay, depending on how you define the term (and I think it's one of those terms that's defined so many different ways that it's essentially useless). It could just as easily be put it under "writing" or "arts" or "personal" or "philosophy" or "humor." -
The only one I have trouble with is the blog comprised entirely of answers to questions I've found in my search stats--it firmly doesn't fit into any of the categories offered in any listing I've ever seen. -

I have multiple topics, though I do stay with just those, and yes I always go with "personal" -
I decided to cast a wide net and cover tech, movies, music, video games and internet related phenomena on my blog... so yeah, not only is it challenging to keep up with, it doesn't fit any category very well. I settled on Entertainment.

Yeah my blog is such a mix of things between rants, pictures, parties, and girls it's always hard to see which way I can really go with it. -

The category for my blog should be "empowering" but no such in BC, so I put it in health, alternative.

It's very difficult to categorize my blog. At the start I had a very clear idea about what I would talk about, but over time I found myself being limited by the scope that I originally had, so now the entire thing just does not fit within any specific category. -
Mine is all about photography hehe -
Mine fits nicely into SEO and Online Marketing however with its sexy theme it can often be difficult to categorise.
