It's too orange isn't it?

I just updated my design to match my logo, which is vibrant orange... It doesn't work, does it? It's just too orange all the way or is it just me?

  i'm the only one that doesn't like the color, maybe it's the business
  
  and oh...the pics changed, That's a powerful spot to define who you are with simple text
  
  when I say Í liked it, I meant it worked, it created a focus but I think you could really use it to either define who you are or point someone to the next place you want them to go

  Oh, defining who I am and what I do... That is something I haven't managed yet. I've tried and tried and... It always comes out weird. I'll do that straight away when I figure it out myself, I promise!

  I like it... Unfortunately, I can't put what the blog is about as simply, as I don't know myself what it is about.. I don't have a specific topic like you do. I would love to be able to do that though.

  I have an artist friend, she wanted to market her work. She thought she had to sell it to just anyone that liked the look of it. When I spoke to her I helped her define her market, it was depressed woman that generally bought her work because it made them happy when they saw. Once a market/s is defined correctly, then you can easily think tank phrases which catch those peoples attention.

  Of course, I just don't blog in the business sense, it's a personal blog that I write for fun rather than for a "market". If it was a business it would be a lot more straight forward. (I have a personal logo for everything I do. You know, a bit like Prince, "the artist previously known as Prince". :p)

  Yeah... Well, after reading the first post what ever is up there, it should become pretty apparent it's not a business, or at least a bad one. I think there's so many for fun only blogs out there that most people get the fact it's not a business... I think so anyway.

I like it. Then, orange has always been one of my favorite colors, and I'm told that makes me weird.

Maybe I need some time to adjust, as it was a pink layout to start with and I had it in use for a while. Thanks everyone for the feedback, much valued.

You know, it actually works. The color schemes go together very well. My prefernce would be to tone it down just a bit - it's a bit bright for my eyes, but it does work, I don't think it's "bad" at all.

At first glance (and a quick one) it's ok. As I try to read your post, my eyes begin to hurt. I think it is too bright for people who spend more than a few minutes. What about a design with orange in it? Like a wallpaper or simple pattern.
