Jade Goody will die in a few weeks, you care?

Jade Goody said herself that she is like marmite, you either love her or hate her! I wasn't keen on her myself but I did admire her. Regardless of what anyone says, she couldn't have made the millions she made if she didn't have some business savvy.
Now she's stricken with cervical cancer and will likely die in a few weeks. She's consulting a white witch after conventional treatments failed.
I think it's terribly sad, what do you think?

Don't know her, but people die all the time - so can't say I care much. -
I do not know Jade Goody, but it is sad to see and hear about women dying from breast and cervical cancer this day and age. -

The reason you respond this way is because you don't know her, trust me when I say all Brits do know her! Like her or loathe her they know of her.

There is nothing to loath about anyone for its best not to judge anyone. If it wasn't for reality tv, no one would have known about her. She surely deserves as much empathy, love and prayer as anyone else for people who commit bigger mistakes roam unnoticed.
I now look at Jade as a person who needs to be given hope and faith. She could be made to believe in life again. Diseases like cancer only consume people who succumb to them. Where all else fails, hope lives.-
I don't think that's true, people fight cancer and still die, to say otherwise is the make out they were cowards who gave up. Jade will die in a few weeks and she has fought and she has hope. I also believe in the power of the mind, but some things are too far gone.

I don't know Jade Goody and I am British, but expat and even if I was living back home probably wouldn't know too much about her since I don't watch reality shows.
What do I think! I empathize with anyone facing this (a dear friend of mine is currently fighting cancer) and hope she is surrounded with all the love and support one needs at a time like this. so yes it is sad, but I can't care in a personal sense, only in an empathetic global sense.-
Hi Jafabrit, you'd know her whether you watched Tv or not, she's been on every papers front page daily for the last 5-6yrs - hence the reason her death will leave a large gaping hole- in the media's headlines at least.

I still would not have known much about her, maybe an awareness (like I have for many celebs existence and names in the news), but I just don't make a point of reading about celebs). so yes maybe an awareness of her, but not knowing who she is exactly and not caring to find out. You know what I mean.
so living back home or not I don't think my opinion or answer would be any different.
