What do you think, did Jamie Foxx go to Far, or is it all just fun and games?

I saw this yesterday. I found it to be very funny, especially when the woman goes "to get some respect as an artist!".

As was once said, and in the entertainment industry is more than true...

"There is no such thing as bad publicity."

unless you are Michael Vicks or George Michael. Sorry... had to add that

    Disney would be so dissapointed
    1. SWSamurai
Yeah... right. At least to the public they would, then they would distribute the movie under the "Screen Gems" name. ;-)

What would you call it though? "one night in miley" just doesnt have the same ring to it

    Miley High Club?
    Smiley Miley?
    Miley does Montana?
  5. SWSamurai
    "Miley Does it."
  6. SWSamurai
"I'd walk a Miley in her shoes"
  7. SWSamurai
    "Miley for milk money."

I didn't find it funny at all, he is 40 yrs old and Miley is 16 and he has a 16 yrs old daughter, Im sure Jamie Foxx wouldn't be too amused if it was his daughter being talked about like that.

Well her parents did not seem to mind the pictures that she had taken, that tells me that they are the ones that opened up this line of dialogue.

Ah, so what your saying is.. bad behavior justifies bad behavior...

So if you rob a bank, it's alright for me to rob a bank?

If her parents allow her to take a picture.... then that's a greenlight for a gang bang?
    2. SWSamurai
No... if her parents are going to allow her to be presented in an adult manner, by having provocative pictures taken, then they need to be ready for this kind of humor.

Look at the Olsen twins... they were pretty much a forbidden topic until they started getting old enough to act stupid in the spotlight, then the gloves were off.

Is it right? No... but who invites it? Was Jamie the first to make underhanded jokes about actors or actress' that were under age, or is he the most convenient to target at this time?

Well, we live in a day and age where anything goes. It doesn't matter how nasty, repulsive or twisted the subject is... There's always someone out there who's willing to say it in hopes of drawing attention to themself.

And the entertainment industry rewards behavior like that.

As much as I loath Miley Cirus - she is still an underaged girl...

There are thousands of other adult females he could blather on about...

He can go to the sewer if he wants.... but he should go there alone.

i found jamie foxx and his co-host's comments funny, but he did go too far. thats the thing about comedy, alot of it circles around controversy and even though jamie is an actor/singer nowadays, we cant forget he started as a comedian. when he does stand up he says controversial things all the time like many comedians.

im not saying that to give him an excuse for the comments he made because again, talking about a 16-year-old girl making a sextape is towing the line of social taboo, but it comes from a guy who is trying to get a reaction out his audience.

i read the comments on the youtube video and it seems like most people are flipping on him and shitting on him like hes this bad guy because he made one comment but the dude is a comedian. every joke isnt going to be a gem but its still a joke.

dmarie you make alot of good points in the video. in fact, all your points are dead on especially in regard to the co-host calling miley cyrus "that white bitch". thats an example of the hypocrisy in regard to race in america, but thats a whole nother conversation lol! good post tho. i subscribed

It's all just a publicity stunt...and one more reason I don't bother with actor types.

I agree it was a joke, but the bit about smoking crack and stuff is kinda a bit much

I haven't heard exactly what he said, but I'm intrigued to listen to the exact language--to assess whether or not he's guilty of soliciting child pornography. Not much room for error in that law.
