      Thank you
  2. Friday13
For cultivating mold. Gives it a special tangy flavor.
    1. Jeunelle
      INDEED
  3. Stillthinking
I love jello. I especially love Cherry jello with Cool whip. Yum. Artificial ingredients are sometimes so delicious.

Also, jello mix works really well when making popsicles.
    1. LynneaUrania
I'm trying to picture a calico cat wompin' down Jell-O with Cool Whip.
    2. Stillthinking
She won't eat it. She just sniffs it, bats at it with her paw, then licks her paw and struts off.
    3. Jeunelle
Yup got to have COOL WHIP on the JELLO
      anything else is just PLAIN

    2. Stillthinking
      Jesus ate jello.
    3. mylotnovice
      @Friday13,

You mispelled it once again: it's antiangelloism

  5. cookingasshole

    1. Jeunelle
      Thank GOD
  6. LynneaUrania
I don't use Jell-O. But sometimes I might make some agar to grow smiling little bacteria on petri dishes.
    1. Jeunelle
Yup this does seem to work very well for bacteria on petri dishes
    2. LynneaUrania
Of course, we might also make a sweet beer in Biology class instead of using petri dishes. Before long the whole Science building smelled like a brewery.
    3. Jeunelle
Ewwww I almost blew up my Chemistry class.
My Chemistry teacher yelled at me for an hour. I was near the gas burner
and decided it was cool to light it up. NOT A GOOD DAY FOR TEACHER.
  7. qelqoth
We don't have that stuff over here.
    1. Jeunelle
I want to move where you live.
Promise me when I move in, you won't move away
    2. qelqoth
You're more than welcome to move into my home.

It's going to be abandoned next month anyway.
  8. busylizzy
Without peeking at wiki, isn't jello from geletin, that clearish brown stuff around bones? Just add some sugar and artificial flavor and yummy!
    1. LynneaUrania
Yup...but it has been dried out and reconstituted.
    2. Jeunelle
YES JELLO is GELATIN and GELATIN is used to grow your nails and hair. Women must love JELLO/GELATIN more than men but I might be mistaken
  9. Stillthinking
I remember eating savory gelatin when I was growing up. We would have it chili pepper sauce, minced garlic and shallots. It was good.
    1. Jeunelle
Sounds delicious. Please supply me with the ingredients if you still have it, I may just post it to my blog.
    2. Stillthinking
I'll ask my mom. I have never actually made it myself.
    3. cookingasshole
no offense but that sounds freaking gross
    4. Jeunelle
      @cookinasshole....hahahahahha
  10. greencurmudgeon
Jello is fine. Except for Lime Jello, which is evil and should be banned.
    1. Stillthinking
What about those multi colored jello molds?
    2. greencurmudgeon
So long as it doesn't contain Lime, it's OK.
    3. Jeunelle
YEAH that GREEN stuff does look rather SICK
    4. Jeunelle
      AGREED
    5. Floormodel

Whooooooooo Oh My GAWD, today is a good day
      YES there is a GAWD.
  12. LynneaUrania
You can also dry it out and make it into a rubberized version of stained glass windows.
    1. Jeunelle
Hmmmmm I may give it a try, thanks for the tip
  13. Jeunelle
When I eat my JELLO I may use some Condense Milk on top. I seem to like mine with a little added sweetness. I do use the Gelatin in Jello more than I eat the JELLO. I seldom eat the JELLO. I do use the GELATIN to help grow my hair and nails but that is about it.
    I HATE THE WIGGLE....NOT COOL

I actually JELLO wrestled once... It was a hell of a lot of fun!!!

    My daughters love JELLO!!
    1. Jeunelle
Now that sounds like something I might like to try. Jello wrestling sounds funky and kinky and I am all for the FUNK AND KINK.
    2. lingoslinger
Funk and Kink are two of the finer things in life
    3. LynneaUrania
      You can say that again!

When I was in high school, we used to hang out at this place called Lil’ Chef. On their menu they had “Red Jello.” I didn’t know red was a flavor. But if you asked the waitress what flavor the red Jello was, she would respond, “red.” Is that like Orange Jello? Waka waka waka!

I don’t think she thought we were funny, either.
    1. Stillthinking
My old roommate used to insist that shamrock shakes didn't taste like mint, they tasted like "green."

      "How does Green taste?"

      "Like Green."
    2. Jeunelle
      Bwwwwaaahhhhh
  18. Floormodel
here's a fun fact: I grew up near the birthplace of JELLO and have been to the JELLO museum more times than I'll admit, but never willingly.
My Mother thinks JELLO is manna from heaven and has a recipe for every occasion. I know this is true because I've eaten every damn one of them.
    1. Jeunelle
DAMN there is a JELLO MUSEUM?????
I had no idea. Please do take some photos of this Jello Museum for us to see.
      Very interesting.
    2. Floormodel
sadly yes. I will take pics next time we head that way but until then... here's a link

    3. Jeunelle
      AWESOME thanks for the link
  19. RafaRR
I love blue Jello but I have to sneak it from the US because here in Mexico flan is more popular is lika a milk Jello, it´s good but not comparable to the fruity taste of Jello's.
    1. Stillthinking
Flan is delicious! I never thought it was anything like jello though. I always thought it was more like custard.
    2. Jeunelle
      Love Flan/Tapioca
  20. kat822
add some liquor to it and I'll slide it down , JEllo SHOTS YEAH
    1. Jeunelle
Never tried Jello Shots but hey Shots sound good to me
    2. TonyB
      You'll slide it down?
    3. Jeunelle
      Sounds sexy
    4. chicky401
Oh my you have never tried jello shots? Wow I thought they were common everywhere! They are pretty good made with vodka.
    5. Jeunelle
That's it, I am trying it this Friday.
    6. chicky401
Substitute the cold water with vodka
  21. Theresa111
I avoid Jello. However I enjoy the Jello brand puddings.
    1. Jeunelle
I have to admit, those are delicious
  22. UncleBeau
    Beware the Jello troll.
    1. Jeunelle
Yup that Jello troll is tricky and sneaky
  23. mikodragonfly
I used to never care much for it. The regular ones are too sweet so I'd rather avoid them but these days I can't get enough of those little sugar-free jello cups.

I have yet to make jello shots. Does this mean I'm missing out on a world of good times?
    1. Jeunelle
Yup those Jello shots sounds rather promising
  24. kath
    Buko pandan jello for me...yum!
    1. Jeunelle
      hmmmm never tried this flavor
  25. Jeunelle
Does anyone remember those Jelly sandals?
I think teens use to wear them to school in the 80's, I hated those Jelly sandals

  26. chicky401
Now I am not a big fan of jello except for occasionally the talked about jello shots. Other then that it can be used for wrestling
    1. Jeunelle
Yeah I like that wrestling idea too, sure beats mud wrestling.
Well hold up I like mud wrestling too.
