Well in case you have no idea who John Chow is then I want to inform you in the most honest way possible. I posted this evening about the trickery known as John Chow Dot Com.

www.syndicatedelitist.com/2008/07/will-real-john-chow-please-stand-up.html

John Chow has a large amount of followers but in all honesty this guy is not what he makes himself out to be.

He claims to be a mogul and anyone who has been blogging for a few years is bound to heard of him.

If you like the post feel free to leave a comment.

Well I decided to actually post on my blog about him after discussing it with a few other blogger's who encouraged me to take the leap and actually blog about his trickery.

The thing is Johnchow has it well covered he has his lovers and haters. Everyone of them writes a post about him and sends him more and more traffic.

I remember when he did the post on the hi tech toilet last year to hit the digg front page and become famous. He then hit on the idea to use it to his advantage and he has done it very well.

Haven't you posted a ton of times on this same subject?
It seems no one are a hoot about John Chow or if he is a real mongul or not. I know I don't.

No body is what they are made out to be.

    Are you?
    1. bkerensa
      Define a ton?

And I guess that depends on who you ask and I don't make myself out to be anything other than a blogger and geek.
    2. cooper
He's always seemed like a slimy salesmen to me, it's pretty obvious, those who don't know better either don't care and are just as slimy or are too stupid to look at things objectively.

"Define a ton" - More than once in a short period of time.

Well the misleading his readers is what concerns me most.

Oh not this again. Come on man, let it rest and forget about it..
    1. bkerensa
Simply because you tell me to? I think not.

You know Ben, if you're keen on fighting graffiti and vandalism, I'm sure your city has work available...It'll give you something to do, at the least.

Ironically, it seems to me that you're causing more vandalism then you're stopping though...Try to figure that out, kthxbye.

See the first comments on your post. We live in world where 50 will like us and 50 will hate us.

And the second comment on your post, named as John, It can never be John Chow.Very clever post and very cheap.
    1. bkerensa
Actually that second comment was in fact John Chow.... I talked to him last night
  9. CaesarRomaus
If what you said is true, you'd just ignore him. I think you are trying to piggyback on his notoriety by posting about him.
    1. bkerensa
      He has bad notoriety......

The bigger you get in the blogosphere, the more supporters--and non-supporters alike--you'll get. John is very well-known, so it's only expected that he'll have both.

I don't know why you are so focused on him, but I wonder if your blog entry or discussing him will make much difference or add much more that isn't highlighted or discussed already?
    1. bkerensa
I guess that is for the masses to decide.
    2. jafabrit
And you think the mases haven't already decided based on all the info already out there? I was just wondering if you are sharing anything that isn't known already and how useful it would be?
  12. IZEA
I've yet to read your post, but I'm curious to know why John has a "bad" reputation. What, exactly, leaves a bad taste in your mouth?

Damn. John Chow stole my idea.
