Just found out that John Travolta's 16-year-old son has died, Basil Rahming, the Chief Superintendent
of the Grand Bahama Police.

Does anyone know what his son died from? According to these reports he died from a seizure.

I can only imagine what it must be like to lose a son or daughter.

    Yeah, I was shocked when I heard that on CNN Head Line News. John Travolta is one our favorite actors.
    They say his son had a history of seizures and apparently hit his head on the bathtub.
    John Travolta & Kelly have said that Jett became very sick when he was 2 years old and was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease, an illness that leads to inflammation of the blood vessels in young children.
    But I guess they still have to have an autopsy to determine the real cause

    It's very sad that their son died at such a young age. I hate hearing of it.

      @Arnous81 and armywife65....yes this is a sad.
      I know a lot of people who slipped and fell in the bathtub and died.
      Even those bathroom slip proof rugs don't always work either and you end up falling anyway.
      I try to be very careful in the shower/tub and I try not to move around in it at all.
      All it takes is one bad slip and it's all over.

    What annoys my are these tv shows that put such news under "juicy gossip" forgetting that celebs are normal human beings that have feelings and suffering in thier lives as well.

      MadMadMargo.....yes it sure is, sad for any parent to see their children go out before they do.
      I remember when my Grandma lost one of her sons, one of my uncles (a good one)
      she grieved for a very long time and still grieves today.
      This is certainly something that is extremely hard to get over.
