What a great question. So many good ones, but my favorite was his role of William Blake in Dead Man.

I really like Depp and I like Sean Penn for the same reason...they can take on very different roles and aren't afraid of a challenge.

  I didn't like that film...felt alien to me. I think it's due to a lack of female characters...couldn't connect with it.

this guy is a chameleon. he can snake himself into sooo many characters effortlessly. what i love about him : his charisma and wit. i still love to watch 'what's eating gilbert grape' every now and then.

I love Johnny Depp because he always chooses interesting and challenging roles. I think Don Juan DeMarco is a really underrated film and performance. I think that the most enjoyable to watch is Jack Sparrow, but I think his best ever performance was in The Libertine. Possibly the finest performance I've ever seen from an actor.

He is great. One of the few times he missed was Willy Wonka. But I grew up on the Gene Wilder version so maybe that is why I didn't enjoy the Tim Burton one.

I keep hearing Depp is going to play Barnabas in a "Dark Shadows" movie. I think he would be wonderful in that role!

Depp is one of the BEST actors - EVER.

I've watched him since 21Jumpstreet...

And I see how he has taken acting to new heights and he is superb at his craft.

Not MANY people in the acting industry can make you forget the ACTOR - and make you see the character - like Depp can.

Out of all the celebrities I have ever met or wanted to meet - Depp is the only one that I wish was one of my best friends.

Man - could you learn some serious stuff from him.

I think he is a master at his work - and is VERY unrecognized for his extreme talent.

Most people see him as "a pretty face" - but yet - they watch all of his movies.

I see him as an incredible performer - who sinks into his roles and comes out better after each one.

I'd love to know how hard it is on him - or if it as effortless as he makes it appear.

I wonder if he "BECOMES" the character - or if he allows his imagination to create an image - and he follows that image creation?

I wonder if he leaves his skin at work - or if he is at "PLAY" all day.

Those are the things I'd like to know about...

I'm not GAGAGA in love with Depp - just amazed at his talent - and from everything I've ever read about him - or heard or seen, he appears to be quite an interesting person who would be awesome to get to know - cause he'd bring so freaking much to the table.

And I highly doubt you'd ever be bored.
