OK, there's still a media frenzy about the poster showing President Obama as the Joker.

But when Vanity Fair did the same thing to Bush a year ago, no one batted an eye. Why?

What I find funny is that so many believe the poster shows Obama as some type of dictator but for the last eight years we had Bush shown as Hitler.

It doesn't seem like objectivity to me.

But what do you guys think about this? Typical political satire or an attack on our president?

I hate to break up the frenzy, but it is just a poster.

Too bad not a lot of people share your wisdom. A lot have been up in arms about it.

Are you aware of the other thread on this topic? Here's the link to it. www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/entry/obama-joker-poster

      I wasn't aware of that.

I never saw the Bush Joker...how did I miss that?

Well, Exit2013, it's interesting, because I think a lot of people missed that. The fact is, Bush was shown to be a lot of things, from Hitler to a drug addict, so I guess the media didn't feel the need to report those images.

When Vanity Fair did it, I guess the media didn't really seem to care and was focused on the elections.

What, you're not a fan of reality TV too?

sounds like a little racism or discrimination involved but that's expected with Obama. I don't think he would ever be half as bad as Bush. Check out my blog on him and post your comment there.
