Another 'OR' for you....
Jon Pertwee or Tom Baker as Doctor Who?
I grew up with Jon Pertwee so for me he wins every time. What about you?

That's an interesting one! I can't admit to a preference - Jon Pertwee wins the nostalgia vote, but Tom Baker wins on eccentricity (scarf and jelly babies), sense of humour (remember when Jon Culshaw phoned him up on Dead Ringers?), and his voice (brilliantly imitated by Culshaw, and used to great effect on Little Britain).

Tom Baker by a royal mile. His son sells flowers on Koh Samui, Thailand btw. Did you meet K9 as well creatve and did Tom have his scarf on. Fact is Tom Baker was the voice of Little Britain, Pertwee (John or his son Sean) couldnt come close to that accolade..
How do we make the tardis sound fading away on the blog? Hmmm.. -

Tom Baker, definitely. I loved his portrayal, K9, and Sara Jane Smith. I liked the original Romana much better that Lalla Ward's version, though.
David Tennant is the only one of the newer Doctors that comes close.
I also met Anthony Ainley...The Master...at a fan convention and he was very gracious. -
John Pertwee, because when I was a baby he lived near us and would always tell my mum how beautiful I was. Tom baker used to freak me out so much when I watched Doctor Who I used to hide behind the sofa...for some reason I never had confidence that he could save us from the bad guys..
I really like David Tennant he plays a great Dr.
My children love Dr Who dvds. They are always on my shopping list when ever I come back to the U.K -
I loved them both. It's like apples and oranges. I liked Pertwee's style and panache. A man's man and gentleman to boot. I never noticed it at the time but Baker's Doc had a flaring temper. The first hint of a dark side to the Doctor. The Welsh fellow really started to bring it out. Also: the scarf WAS cool.
