Just feeling happy about blog progress

I guess we all feel like our blogs have peaks and valleys in terms of visitor response. For folks in the valleys I'd wanted to tell you, hang in there because just when you think all is silent, then you get some really nice feedback.
This is just a small bit of progress, really, but it was especially pleasing because it means something is working...
One of the things associated with my blog are contact lists and reviews of thrift stores, antique stores, flea markets and other resources for my area. I try really hard to be honest and objective about the reviews.
In the last two days I've had one vendor email me to thank me for the nice review (I genuinely like his store, or I wouldn't have listed it). It turns out he'd been searching for his store online, and found my site-- which he now seems to have read quite a bit of.
Another lady from the area, I just learned, apparently looks at my site first when she's searching for this sort of information. (So exciting!)
And people are starting to contact me with other recommendations for reviews.
So I'm actually feeling pretty jazzed about the progress on this.
I suppose this is less a "Shameless Blog Promotion" than a word of inspiration to other folks who might not be hearing from readers at the moment; those readers might just be out there... They may just be currently quiet. So keep doing what you think is right for your blog, and wait and see what might happen. My blog is just now coming up on a year old, so these things may just take some time.
Hope everyone has a good weekend coming up.

I also got the same things happening, i think everyone have their ups and down, i recently got a few review projects and a gain in featured members on my blog, i guess many are starting to see where i am coming from.

That is really nice feedback Jenn
It such a nice feeling when people actually appreciate your work.
I was linked by National Geographic a week ago and to me that is amazing.
I mean, it's National Geographic! -
That's the important thing for us all, I think-- to believe in what you're blogging about whatever the topic is, and then carry on blogging.
Thanks for sharing in the glee, gang. Only fellow bloggers really understand the joy over minutia like this, right? Try to tell non-blogging friends and family this sort of stuff and somehow it loses something in the explanation. -
I love my blog. I am consistant with my post and have my blogs url in my email signature. I have a lot of pretty things on my blog and people often comment on my blog as being pretty. I mix up about what I post with family and my embroidery business. I have a boutique on make mine pink which gets a lot of hits and my blog is tied to that.
