Just want to say Goodbye BlogCatalog

I just want to take this time before contacting the admins to remove my account to thank BC for all the fun times.

I wish you all the best, and farewell in your future endeavors.

Thanks BlogCatalog. You've shown me the true meaning of an online community. I will surely miss you all, and I may yet someday return when and if I ever own a blog again.

      I can no longer financially support my blog, and have effectively left it to die until the domain expires and disappears off into the graveyard of domains.

      And I am leaving, seeing as how I am technically not a blogger anymore, I have no reason to be here.

      That's what I was thinking. Many of us who love blogging, blog without making much more investment than a domain name (and a LOT of time).

      Sorry, but I personally hate free blogging stuff like Blogger and all that. It's unprofessional and limited in what you can do.

      That's funny-- I run two blogs on free software and I don't imagine you would look at my templates and instantly think, "Oh, another Blogger blog."

      But, hey-- to each his own.

      Then you probably don't really want to blog that much anyway. This from last January shows the preferred blog platform of the top 100 blogs.

      Post Secrets is still on blogger and I believe Scoble, though he has his own domain nane, still uses a wordpress.com blog.
