   "Give away more than you receive" - in terms of what? I guess that's open ended purposely.
   I also think you mean making money by blogging only right, not making money online in general?

      Giving away more than you receive simply means to offer as much value to your subscribers as possible , it can be in the form of video, audio, report, etc.. When people first start out they don't have much to give for obvious reasons, it is at this stage of your online business that you should leverage what is available to you. For example private label right products etc...
      
      I use my blog as a branding tool, a way to connect with people on my email list and a bill board of different products I market.
      
      I look at my blog as my store front it represents me. So if someone ask me if I make money with my blog the answer is absolutely. I make way more sales because I have a blog that I actively write in versus just sending email ads out and hoping someone will give me money.
      
      I take an active role in building my business and income. Giving away true value comes with experience, I believe all online marketers go through a learning process it is this learning process that you should share freely. The more people you can help and connect with , the more money you will make in the end.
      
      Don't sell hype, be sincere and treat your online venture as a "business" and not a "hobby" and you will find success.

      I have 3 blogs, all of which make me adsense money. I built and build systems to help people online achieve success. I have been marketing online for over 8 years, spent over $125,000 in that time learning through trial and error. My email marketing list are over 30,000 people.
      
      You are more than welcome to type my name in google, check out my blogs
      or opt-in to anything that I do.
      
      I only posted because I know the failure rate online is realistically around 95% of the people. Mostly because they treat this like its a "hobby" my bills get paid because of my online marketing. This is what I do for a living.. Not part time, full time.
      
      Well I also teach Martial Arts... But that is another story for another time.
      
      Those same old tired points are still applicable in today's online market. The problem is most people don't want to know "how" to make money , they just want someone to hold their hand and give it to them.
      
      It's these people who do not pick up the ball so to speak and take accountability for their actions that fail online.
      
      Maybe if you spend more time learning than you do trying to flame you will become a productive member of society and not spend your time trolling discussions that are aimed at helping people.

   Most people, including successful people online, don't have a clue as to what swap files are. To say you need to use them to be successful is another lie.

      I agree 100% The biggest lie of them all is that it is easy to make money online. Everyone that I know who is successful on the internet works very hard for it.
