A hardcore gangster leads cops in a 40-minute vehicle pursuit, bails out of the car, flees on foot before giving up. Does he deserve to get kicked in the head?

Should the cop be fired? Should the gangster become a millionaire?

    He may not "deserve" to be beat down. The police officer should be repromanded, not fired. Should the "gangster" become a millionaire? Absolutely not.

    Will it happen that way? No

    The police officer will be fired and fined and the gangster will become a millionaire, if he isn't already.
