This is not my recipe CA, but I have made these and they are really yummy..
MUSHROOM CAPS STUFFED WITH CRAB
18 lg. mushrooms, stems removed
2 tbsp. olive oil
FILLING:
1 lb. crabmeat, shell & cartilage removed
2 tsp. Old Bay Seasoning
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. parsley, chopped
2 slices white bread (crusts removed), minced
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1 egg, slightly beaten
Dash of Tabasco sauce
1/4 c. butter, melted
Saute mushroom caps in oil for 2 minutes. Place in shallow casserole, stem side up. Combine filling ingredients, and stuff mushroom caps. May be refrigerated until ready to bake. Baste with butter and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
You can also sprinkle a little lemon juice on them if you like -
First thing - Please know I live where King Crab is officially the Mascot...
1) Boil it/Steam it with frangranced water (seasons... You can cheat and use OLD BAY Seasoning... However, Bay leaves, mustard seed, Tarragon, Dill, Garlic, Pepper, Salt, Oregano, Rosemary will work just as good...)Use hammer/saw/nutcrackers/knives/fork to remove meat chunks. Dip in condiment of choice: butter with lemon garlic, butter alone, butter with other seasonings like dill/salt/lemon/garlic, Mayonnaise, 1000 Island, Ceasar Dressing, etc...
2) Stir Fry Veggies and place inside stir fry at last minute
3) Make Lobster sauce - and cook crab meat into it in big chunks. Put over steamed rice
4) Boil elbow macaroni, cut celery, onion, black olives, sour or sweet pickles, mayo, mustard and add shredded crab meat in to make a macaroni salad... you can add seasonings like fresh dill, salt pepper, etc.
5) Grill it - serve with your favorite meat or fish grilled dinners and veggies...
6) Crab stuffed Mushrooms - many recipes to try...
7) You can substitute any meat in soups or other dishes where flavor is appropriate.
8) ANY CHOWDER - YUM...
9) Mix with peppers, tomatoes, onions, sausage, seasonings and stir into wild rice - for a harlequin type of rice - YUMMY.
10) Put in any Quiche --- especially any cream based quiche
11) Make Crab Puffs (cheddar cheese puff recipes work really well!)
12) take eggroll wrappers - roll crab, cream cheese, jalapeno or green chilies, salt pepper, dash of lemon pepper, roll wrapper and deep fry until golden brown. (we do this usually with salmon and halibut - we call them POPPERS... Each family has own recipe... this is ours.)
There are a ton more things we do with crab - but that will give you some ideas. -

In case anyone wants to know, CA won an award today. The Superior Scribbler Award. Guess someone thinks this dude can write as curiously creative as he can cook. Punk. Hang on a second, that someone is me. I gave CA the award because he is very deserving of it. Rock on, brother!! wanna know more. See my blog.

I am a vegetarian but I have seen the chili crab recipe.
First clean the crab, Heat oil in a pan,add ginger and garlic paste.
add cut dried chili and chili powder, salt, drop in the crabs, a little water and cook for five minutes. Add tomatoes if you like.
Try if you like spicy food
