Lampwork Beads - Anyone Know What These Are?

This is probably the strangest discussion topic that I'll ever post.:) Writing copy for a client, I must learn everything I can about lampwork beads. Any clues? Do you blog about crafts with lampwork beads or do you know where I might find a good site? Cheers.

Most people who do craft jewelery get them from overseas there are tons of places to get them and there are some well known factories as well. Should not be too hard to google.

Try wetcanvas.com -- it has a huge forum on different arts and crafts, and I believe one of the sections is on lampwork beads.

I think they are some form of Japanese sex toy, I could be wrong though so try not to insert anything until you find out.
