My son was adopted from Petropavlovsk, Kazakhstan in 2007. I met two ladies who run the Antares Foundation, Apryl and Laura, and they live not far from me. They are wonderful, caring folks, who give all donations to the orphans still in Petropavlovsk.

I want to encourage folks to donate to Antares, so I am going to raffle off donated items on my blog, The Crab Chronicles. If you would like to donate a small item for me to raffle off, just let me know. Other donations are gift cards, small electronics, art things. It's a great way to promote an Etsy store if you do artsy Etsy type things. [I have a friend who is donating some items in exchange for me promoting her Etsy store.]

Everyone who donates will be entered in the raffle automatically.
