I dont know why do people keep on taking name of GOD every now and then...
like
"GOD help me"
"GOD bless u"
"GOD is watching"
"GOD is great"
"GOD knows every ting"
I mean why don't u help yourself and leave GOD alone...atleast for a day...he/she/it might be fed up of making u...
So tell me BC members...is it right or not???

It's a way of bringing God in to your life. Like it or not, when you have a power and status difference that substantial (nothing except as allocated by infinity versus infinity), the relationship will be STRAAAAANGE, so strange that some people can't even handle it.
Imagine the other person is a King and you're a peasant who can be squished by the King at a thought, owes the King a huge debt, and the King made you with his own hands - and loves you dearly, but also loves 7 billion other peasants quite dearly.
Oh, and did I mention he can read your thoughts, and though he doesn't do it often, control them or suggest thoughts, and he knows your entire future, and will tell you very little of it. And he's an infinite number of times smarter then you are. And he created your land too, and can cause that to vanish in to a void at will.-

I call him/her "H.P." (for my "Higher Power") As kids we were taught not to use the word "God" in vain. But even our parents would say things like "gol durnit" or "gosh dog" or similar. Such twists weren't confined to H.P. Other expressions like "heck" or "shoot!" (also shoot-fire) or "dang-it" were common. We kids knew what such meant - if we actually thought about it - but all was okay. We too could use too. And often times still do. Thankfully, ol' H.P. laughs about it. -

God is not just human, God is a Supreme Being/creator and I am sure can cope with us all whom he created. The fact that we can call Gods name and not in vein is a blessing. I call God everyday for various reasons, even if it is just to say thank God ... Dive into some spirituality for some insight , try the Bible .....-
