I thyough it would be interesting to compare bloggers' blogs with their profession or main vocation. There might be a few full time at home mums and dads but hey, that's work as well!

Whatever theory you're working on, I have a blog to support it. I guess the best way to describe by profession is "legal writer", though sometimes I'm an educator and sometimes I'm a managing editor. I have blogs about dogs, Catholicism, writing, social issues, everyday life and search terms. So if you're looking for a correlation or proof that this is none, I'm your girl. -
My primary profession is one of being a college professor but I am also a writer—I just finished the rough draft of my memoir. My blog is very much related to my memoir, which tells my experiences of heroin addiction and working in the sex industry and my subsequent 15 year journey of recovery and redemption.-

I am a university professor, mostly languages and some philosophy. I believe my blogs are a humorous more relaxed way of sharing knowledge both with my students and with others and to incite discussions.
Oh yeah, my secret passion is writing, which hopefully one day will become my profession as well. -

I'm an artist, a sumei brush painter. Unlike most sumei artists I paint on pottery rather than on mulberry paper. I run a small business from my home, and I also take on consulting work focused on environmental projects and youth. I have background as a librarian and as a paralegal. I'm a long-time classical musician and a teacher of classical music. I have a bliki (blog/wiki hybrid) because I needed somewhere to store all my knowledge about the field! Also I was originally planning to be a neuroscientist and now there's a lot of neuroscience research into classical music, so I post quite a bit about that.

In Thailand June til December, don't work much over that period (tho I have a two week-old daughter who is pretty time-consuming). As of mid-Dec I'll be blogging from France again, less time there but I'm still counting on doing an average 5 blog entries a week. There are so many bloggers who rarely update, lose interest - the bloggosphere is cluttered with them. It's sometimes hard to locate those that are looked after regularly...

I am a licensed Private Investigator and my husband is a fiscal analyst. We have only been blogging for a year and love it as a hobby. My goal for this year is to do some investigative pieces.
