Does anyone know how to break into the freelance copyediting field? I'd love to make some extra money utilizing my writing skills. I proofread several documents a year for the company I work for and might as well translate that skill into extra income. I've seen a few postings and after inquiring, it sounds more like plaigarism than copyediting in my mind... any advice is welcome!

Heck no! I'm not an encyclopedia of knowledge; I'm a "retriever" AKA a research and reference librarian. I'm simply adept at using search engines. My blogging goal for onecoolsite is to provide free instructional material and resources to bloggers, who are intent on improving their writing and blogging skills, and making their blogs more reader and search engine friendly (basic SEO).
