If you have a blog and you would like to get a professional opinion on your blog’s design leave the url to your blog in the comment section of my blog, and I will rate your blog on it’s design.
I will be giving you advice and providing you with solutions on ways to improve your blogs design. I won’t give advice on grammar mistakes or misspelled words.

I really like the look of your blog. The blog header integrates well with the look of your posts and really makes your blog stand out.
Things that would make your blog’s design better.
1. Get rid of some of the elements on the right side of your blog. (too many things on the right side distracts viewers from the content)
2. Break up some of the larger chunks of text.( smaller text blocks encourages site visitors to read your posts fully)
On a scale from 1-10 I rate your blog a 7 -

I like your blog the header is cool.
Things that would make your blog’s design better.
1. There are too many Google ads ( Too many ads makes your blog look cheap.
2. The widgets on the right side of your blog doesn’t mesh with your blogs design,they also distract visitors from your blog’s content.
3. Adding images to your posts will encourage visitors to read your posts. (newspapers have used this method for years. this will add some more spice to your site.)
4. Try playing with your blogs background color to compliment your blogs header.

Amazing blog design the header integrates well with the look and feel of your blog. The custom navigation adds a nice touch to your blog’s design.
Things that would make your blog’s design better.
1. the color of your Google ad words match your site,my only issue is you should place them lower in the blog.
2.The placement of the square ad on the second column seems out of place,it might look better in the 3rd column.

Not much of a design for recipes....
I'm working on the labels so my readers can find the recipe they are looking for. Taking out everything but the name of the recipe. Makig it user friendly as suggested.

Ah, thanks, I just got my PC back - so that means pictures....yay! Yeah, I don't know if it's my computer or not, but I had to allow your site as a pop up when I clicked on the "blog" icon. (You can do that with firefox...but it takes a couple of minutes before you realize why nothing is happening when you click the button LOL).
I got in there, but what post am I responding to?

Thanks for your review, which certainly was helpful - and you were also generous with compliments. In response to your suggestions, I have simplified the navigation panel, to make getting around easier and also have tried to keep my photo formatting similar throughout the blog, to keep the appearance clean and sharp.
I did not in the end change my header - I prefer to keep it muted so that it does not detract from the photos, which are the most vibrant aspect of my journal.
