Is there life after death ? what happens to a person when he does ? where does he goes ? does he ever comes back ?

According to me the real I is not body, It may be soul which resides in body after death it leaves the body like we leave the house when it become old and search for new.

I do not really understand the question. Life after death? Death is supposed to be the end of life. Or it would not be called death in the first place...-

I believe death of the bod and mind are seperate. The body dies, and the mind and soul becomes something else. Whatever your "heaven" is, whatever you think will happen WILL happen.

according to Plato there is a mortal and an immortal part of the soul
the immortal part is mainly around the head and spine, that's why departed souls were symbolized as snakes
Plato also believed that humans walk upright because of the connection between "heaven" and the human soul
so yes, there is afterlife but I haven't figured out exactly what-
read the timaeus if you have not already...you would also be interested in early Christian mysticism as it is very hellenistic
