Bertrand Russell: "Mathematics may be defined as the subject in which we never know what we are talking about, nor whether what we are saying is true."
I might add that I would say the same exact thing about philosophy. -
Mathematics is universal, though it is not life itself. They're two very dissimilar concepts. What's your point? Who has ever claimed that they are synonymous or equivalent?

but I'll explain ...
limited capacity of our minds to understand all that is in this world, but we need to identify to help us in understanding something, then everything is in identification with symbols .... so easy to communicate .. 0-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 ....
only symbols can be identified ..
in fact there's always the X factor that is not capable of detection by the human mind-

Anything can be represented in mathematical terms, cepoek96. This includes statistics on life, death, marriage, divorce, and probability.

This is a general feeling about mathematics, but there always comes the moment when you have to colive with it so this perception should change.

Life is not mathematics, but you can't deny the fact that it plays an important role in our lives. Many of the situations we find ourselves in and many of the ordinary activities that we do, involve mathematics. Mathematics is all around us.
