Lincoln Maine - what do you know about it?

I need to learn as much as I can about Lincoln, Maine.
What do you know about it?
Do you live there? Have you lived there?
Do you live close to there?
What can you tell me about Lincoln and the surrounding areas.
My Mom just gave me some property there for me and the hubby... (Thank you Mom - I don't deserve it, but it gives me hope... So thank you...)
I'm thinking about moving there soon - and maybe opening a business there...
So anything you know about the area, people, economy - the style, etc...
Would be VERY helpful.

I think we'll be moving there within the next few months - no matter what it's like - LOL!.
I just think I want to be there before Winter - cause we'll be doing a UHAUL - AGGGGG!

Shout Melinda. She has a home in Maine. My father-in-law used to live in Southwest Harbor, near Mt. Desert Island. Right on the ocean and positively gorgeous there. -
It HAS to be warmer than Alaska!!
But it snows there...a lot! Too bloody cold for me!! -
