Linksys Wireless help needed ASAP...PLEASE!!!

had to replace a hardrive on desktop. Installed Vista. Able to hook up to DSL modem via CAT5, however unable to hookup Linksys wireless modem between modem and computer. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
P.S. - Been running wireless router for over 3 years with ZERO problems. Of course when I call help desk, I get ZERO help.

Did they suggest upgrading your firmware ? Vista has problems with peripherals using old firmware not signed/compatible with Vista. -
