It would be nice if everybody could participate. I was unable to participate, and/or ask questions in the last uStream and felt I lost the opportunity to get or win a sponsored membership! (not that I want or need that - but, the fact the I couldn't participate even if I wanted to- annoyed me)
    1. thegoodknife
sorry to hear that, why weren't you able to participate?

I was there and even posted a comment during the live ustream, but being unable to post in the chat - it went unnoticed. It kept trying to "reconnect" and wouldn't load at all. The video was a little choppy for me, but sound was perfect.

@PetLvr.... I know what you mean. Ustream.tv is still in beta, it is a great tool online, but from time to time there are issues. I recommend making sure that you Firefox, I have noticed when doing streams for my company that IE has issues from time to time. Ustream is great 95% of the time, not always perfect.

I love the series and I think this is a great idea.

My only complaint is the first few have been a little disorganized. Like everyone shouting at once and it kind of going all over the place. (Actually the twitter one was a lot better than the first.)

But I look forward to this entire series.

BlogTalkRadio and shows like this one seem to be the latest trend. The only problem is that 1) You can't hear them at work 2) I can't listen at home with my kids screaming and 3) I don't like to waste time watching streaming things when I could be making my way through the internet and/or watching TV. But I assume this is a great move for other people not as crazed and busy as me. I feel like I am missing something, which is a crappy feeling. What I need is a blogger who will summarize these sort of shows because a lot of it is gobbledy gook.

while you don't get the same effect as a live stream, all of Erica's streaming sessions can be watched at anytime from www.ustream.tv/channel/blogcatalog

The upcoming show about LinkedIn, Facebook, BlogCatalog and other social networks should be interesting.
  18. podhead
Erica is awesome, she did a great job with social media camp in Seattle and the Mashable event we co-sponsored.
  19. all4success
that is all good, but careful with using the words broadcast, broadcasting, and broadcaster, I think most bloggers should not be using those words, most bloggers should sick to words like podcasting, podcaster, video podcasting etc, this are new generation words that have to do exclusively with the internet, Ipods, etc that won't get you in trouble with the law, once we use the word broadcast, and on top of that also use words like distribute, media etc and things to that effect I think we are crossing the line
