Have you ever suffered of the "longing for Africa" (or if there is a better translation?) or the nostalgy of Africa? Because I did and I'm still continuing thinking about this beautiful country

Ustedes nunca han sufrido de mal de africa, porque yo sì ...y todavia lo tengo...

Avete mai provato il Mal di Africa, io si e ancora melo porto dentro al cuore...

No, I sometimes long to walk the moors in the Northeast of England or along the north sea coastline in the off season time but that is because I grew up with them and enjoyed them.

I long for the home I grew up in. Babbling creek, hillside with a huge Maple tree, and wild life on my lawn in the morning.

You seem to be describing what is commonly known as "homesickness."

Africa is a continent as diverse as North America...or even more so. Perhaps if you named a country, some of us might be able to relate a little better: those of us who perceive home as the deep piney woods of the Pacific Northwest might find it difficult to relate to missing the arid lands of Morocco, but people from Arizona or Nevada might be able to relate.

I am an American living in South Africa. I've been here five years and haven't been homesick yet.

Yes SweetViolet, you are right! it's true Africa, Im sorry I got the sickness during my trip in Tanzania, I know its'not the same as living in a place, but really I always think about this wonderful place, sickness for me is related on my very strong emotions, thanks for your clever comment!

  16. muthumbi

Come with a mind to invest and you will enjoy it. As you know, there are many unrealized resources that one can get, With a little money, you get a ranch and keep your horses there, plus build a hotel where your people can come and sleep, keep nice animals so that your people can watch them and build a sweeming pool, anything, you can only do it in africa. Trust me. Good weather is the key, as you all know it is a land full of milk and honey, hope you get some revelation and act!
    1. muzungumalaika
Well sorry, If I come to that Area it will be not for making money, is because I miss it, I'm quite poor and my intention is to live in a very simple way, I feel a little bit disgusted "about how to make money", I would enjoy even without investing, friend!
