My decorating with thrift store finds blog has a whole section of resources from it where I review and list my favorite thrift stores, antique malls, flea markets, and architectural salvage in the Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio region.

I did this mainly because I know how hard it is to find good comprehensive lists of these places-- I've spent a lot of time and effort researching them, so I'd figured I'd share with my readers.

I originally was concerned this would make it harder for me to find interesting items myself, but it really hasn't. I HAVE however had a lot of local folks using the pages, and even offering updated information.

I love that.

  I would love it if people in other regions did the same-- and would be more than happy to link to those kinds of resources.
  
  I just know with how quickly everything changes, I wouldn't be able to keep up or ensure accurate information for places I can't get to regularly. That's why I limit it to my general area.
