This weekend has been spent investigating various open source micro blogging platforms. I want something like tumblr. In fact I wish that had been open source.

I tried Laconica which I found hard to customize and it involved a lot of back end programming knowledge. It also lacks good documentation especially involving installation of it's built in facebook app.

Chyrp was great but it doesn't have the functionality of multiple users unless you set up other admin accounts. Again, not really what I want.

There's also a wordpress plugin/theme that can make your site look like a micro blog.

Theres lots of programs out there but does anyone know the equivalent of a Micro Blogging CMS?
