Lots o' drama today...why are we here? Why are you here?

I started a blog and joined this catalog for two reasons:
1. Because I love to write and starting a blog urges me to follow my passion and
2. To meet other like-minded individuals...humorous, talented, creative people...who are putting out quality stuff that I can enjoy.
I don't mind the debates...that's where I find interesting people.....and I don't even mind the drama....but why are you here?

I think some love the drama far more than they love blogging.
I joined BlogCatalog for the same reasons as you. -
Same as NP. Words and images. However I find more connection here on the discuss board than I do via my blog.

I think people respond more to words/topics than they do art (writing, drawing, whatever). The response to those are primarily: "Nice work." "Interesting." etc., etc. But no actual discussion about one's art is triggered. Why? That could be an interesting discussion.
(going to AA meeting now. sober today.)

Initially, I didn't know about BC being a social network for bloggers. I just took it as another blog directory and submitted my blog. A member added me as a friend and then began my BC life. I enjoy being here as I get a chance to meet people with so much diversity. I've found some really good human beings here and have learned new things from them.
