High blood sugar levels (diabetes) are bad.
But did you know that low blood sugar levels are bad too?
Your body needs energy which is derived from sugars. Now if the sugars are low, then your body doesn't get the required energy.
The main organ to require energy is the brain, so when the sugar supply is low - it leads to brain damage.
Common cause of low blood sugar levels is a diabetic who is on insulin therapy. So, watch out guys.

The symptoms of high blood sugar (hyperglycemia) and low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)can be very much alike. The best way to know if you are having a low blood sugar reaction is to have your blood tested. The symptoms of low blood sugar come on fairly fast but the symptoms of high blood sugar usually come on slower.

Stress and Irregular Blood Sugar Levels = TROUBLE

I'm hypoglycemic - and yes, I agree. It can be very bad indeed. From low energy levels to symptoms not unlike a diabetic attack (fainting, shaking, etc) you can do serious damage to your body, and others if you eat poorly or don't watch your blood sugar levels. (for those on insulin, of course, I don't take insulin, so I focus on a proper diet).
Make sure you're not cutting out carbs completely, and eat fruits and veggies for their natural sugars. You shouldn't use sucrose to control it, unless you're in a dire situation. (A piece of candy will stop an attack, but it's not the best way).-
I know because my doctor told me I was
It also runs in the family...
But the symptoms should really be more severe than what you may experience normally. So, if you're used to eating at say, 9, 1, and 7 for breakfast lunch and dinner, and it's 2 and you're not just feeling light headed, but also sick, dizzy, and irritable, there's a good chance you're hypo/hyperglycemic. But you'll need to go to a doctor to find out.
